The VIS® Athlete
Join the community.
To join as a VIS Athlete (e.g. member) you must be a current woman athlete in sport ages 13-23 years old. It’s free to join the VOICEINSPORT community. If you want to get more involved in the community check out the leadership programs for athletes called the VIS Creator Program or the VIS Advocate Program.
The VIS® Creator
Internship Program.
The VIS Creator Program is an internship opportunity for current collegiate students and student athletes. VIS Creators must be a current student and have a passion to change the game for women in sport. Positions are available across Writing, Photo/Video, Social Media, Marketing, Podcast Production, Sales, Computer Programming and Operations.
The VIS® Advocate
Leadership Program.
The VIS Advocate Program is a year long internship opportunity with the VOICEINSPORT Foundation. You must be a current High School or College woman identified athlete and passionate about using ones voice to advocate for equality. VIS Advocates will receive formal Title IX training and gain leadership skills in sport & civic engagement. Athletes can also start VIS Chapters (e.g. clubs) at their school to advocate for change.
The VIS® Expert
Paid or Volunteer Roles.
To join as a VIS Expert you must be a current professional in Sport Psychology, Sports Nutrition, Sports Dietetics, Sports Medicine or Sport Science & Research. VIS Experts work directly with VIS Athletes in the community providing educational content through articles and videos, conduct 1-on-1 Sessions (clinical or non-clinical) and/or Group Sessions (non clinical) with girls on the platform or VOICEINSPORT Partner Teams and Clubs. Experts must apply, go through a formal interview process, reference/background check, provide proof of certifications and attend a VIS Expert Training.
The VIS® Mentor
Paid or Volunteer Roles.
To join as a VIS Mentor you must be a current Pro or College athlete and have experience with formal mentoring and/or coaching with young athletes. The VIS Mentoring Program is a paid position at VOICEINSPORT and it is 100% athlete led where mentors determine the price, the date/time, frequency and topic. Athletes must apply, go through a formal interview process, reference/background check and VIS Training.
The VIS® Mentor
Mentoring young athletes.
The VIS Advocate Program is a year long internship opportunity with the VOICEINSPORT Foundation. VIS Advocates will reinvigorate the integrity of Title IX through education, enforcement, and expansion of knowledge. Athletes will join forces with their peers to create the largest grassroots initiative for girls and women in sport, ever. VIS Advocates will attend formal trainings with VIS Advocacy Experts and gain leadership skills in sport & civic engagement. Through the partnership with the VOICEINSPORT Foundation athletes can start VIS Chapters at their school to advocate for change.
