Breaking the Silence on Menstrual Health

As an athlete, I've learned that painful, heavy, or irregular periods should never be dismissed as mere side effects of intense training. Like many women in sports, my menstrual health was completely overlooked. This neglect allowed underlying conditions to go untreated for over a decade, leading to significant disease progression and debilitating symptoms. I’m here to share my journey, a story all too familiar to many women in sport who suffer from undiagnosed menstrual conditions and normalized pain.
