Diet culture may tell us that we should fit into our clothes, but this narrative is both harmful and false. Sports sociologist and VIS Expert Holly Thorpe, PhD tells us why body size and appearance is not an indicator of performance and encourages us to shift the focus to what our bodies are capable of.
