From the Podium to the Front Lines

As an athlete, physical training is one part of the job. But for some women, physical training is their job. Women in tactical professions like military, firefighting, or law enforcement are using their athletic backgrounds to excel in their careers, all while protecting and serving our country. We spoke with VIS Mentor Jenna Bike, a Chicago Stars defender and registered nurse, to explore how the skills athletes develop can translate to tactical careers.
