A Day of Fueling with Kaia Schmid

Especially with our busy schedules, properly fueling our bodies can feel like a challenge. But for VIS Mentor and Professional Cyclist, Kaia Schmid, nutrition plays a critical role in sustaining her successful performances. Schmid sees nutrition as an important way of avoiding having low energy and making sure her body has the fuel it needs to stay at the top of her game. We chatted through each meal, how she approaches competition days, and what snacks keep her going.
